Your data in this app

Only what the app needs to work:

• Your name and email address
• An optional profile photo and country
• Which events you were checked in to, and when
• Photos you choose to upload

We do not ask for your student number, phone number, date of birth or address, and there is nowhere in the app to enter them.

Your QR code contains a random identifier and a signature that changes every 30 seconds. It does not contain your name, your email, or anything readable about you. Someone who photographs your screen cannot use the code a minute later, and cannot learn anything from it.

• Other students can see photos in event galleries. They cannot see your profile, your email, or which events you attended.
• BBE Club organisers can see who attended an event, in order to run check-in and moderation.
• Nobody, including organisers, can read the secret behind your QR code.
• Nothing in this app is visible to anyone who is not signed in.

Galleries are private to signed-in BBE Club members — photos are not on the public internet and are served through short-lived links.

If you appear in a photo and want it gone, use Report on the photo and choose “I appear in this photo”. It is hidden from the gallery immediately, before any organiser reviews it.

There is no tracking pixel, no advertising network, and no third-party analytics in this app. The numbers organisers see are counted directly from attendance and photo records — how many people came, not what any individual did.

Go to Profile → Edit profile → Delete my account. Your name, email, photo and country are erased and your QR secret is destroyed immediately. You can also choose to remove the photos you uploaded.

Attendance records are kept without your identity attached, so event statistics stay correct. They can no longer be linked back to you.
